GP Projects: Fitting an OBD2 Data Gauge & Track Day Monitor

All R56 variants are fitted with simple engine temperature gauges, that show zero, ‘mid’ and High. These are not accurate and can lead to engine issues as the gauges sit at ‘mid’ and only rise when it’s too late and there’s a problem.

So…. I’ve fitted an OBD2 scan gauge/ engine monitor that can also be cycled through various screens to allow for track day monitoring ‘options’… happy days! The bracket was sourced from the US as there are many cool brackets available. I’m really pleased with the result… really has an OEM feel about it.
