Custom boot compartment and spare wheel mount

After opting for a full size spare wheel (not a fan of the wheel ‘foam’ type option for a spare!) there was a need to get the location of this sorted. So, at the same time a jack, spanners, jack blocks were needed to be stored.

The custom boot compartment now provides hidden locations for the jack, brace, and jacking points. All new additions were covered in material to match the OEM boot lining. I’m really pleased with the outcome, with many GP owners in GPownersUK group asking me to start making these… hmm might be an idea!

Spare wheel mount located into runners , fits like a glove… really pleased :-)

Final test… spare wheel in and strapped down with ‘Matchbox’ logo on racket strap. Nice and secure and looks great. I might use the side of the spare to store my racing suit and helmet for track days !
